For the second bottling of Camikara Pure Cane Juice Rum from India, sugar cane juice was distilled in Pot Stills. It matured for 8 years in American oak barrels and is a tribute to the Indian sugar cane farmers who have been producing rum from the sugar cane harvest for thousands of years. Camikara is Sanskrit and means ‘liquid gold’.
Aroma: Honey, ginger, caramel and plums
Taste: Spicy and sweet with notes of banana and marshmallow, plus accents of ginger and sweet spices
Finish: Woody aromas with spicy notes, accompanies by a hint of caramel.
