The head wine maker is Jose Maria Ureta, who originally worked with the Faustino group in Rioja, before joining the Bodegas La Val team, in 2001 he was named "Young Albariño Winemaker of the Year". TASTING NOTES A zesty, lime and pineapple nose. With bright peaches and apple fruit on the palate. There's a firm backbone of acidity which keeps the wine structured and just enough fleshiness to give a flattering mid palate. -

Catalan Eagle takes its name from the bird that soars above the nature reserve close to the winery ‘Catalan Eagle’ White Garnacha Blanca Viognier, Catalunya organic wine has a delicate floral nose with white stone fruit and grapefruit. The palate has more stonefruit and citrus, with more precise flavours of pear and melon and minerality, with warm spice and savoury notes. The wine has a rich texture and is wonderfully integrated.
