Production
Grapes are harvested from a combination of premium vineyard sites, of both old and new vines, planted in terraces at 100-700m above sea level. The fruit (Garnacha, Carinena, Cabernet Sauvignon, along with 10% Merlot and 5% Syrah) is fermented in 1.5t open top fermenters and hand plunged daily. Each parcel is matured separately for 12 months in a combination of both new (70%) and older (30%) French oak barriques.Tasting notes

Subtle spicy notes of vanilla and cinnamon along with a mineral background. Palate: A plush texture that carries marked and sweet flavors in this attractive red wine. A mid-weight Mencia, with gentle but firm tannins balanced by dark cherry and bramble fruit. Fresh acidity drives a decent-length finish and floral and herbal complexity makes this an engaging glass of wine. Generally mid-weight in style but the warmer '22 vintage shows a more generous, full body. Tannins are still balanced but savoury and more full-bodied than usual. A wine that benefits from time in decanter, or to open up in the glass.Food match
