Very high aromatic intensity with extraordinary aroma quality. Fruity and varietal nose, very rich in floral and citrus nuances. In the mouth it is broad, fresh and balanced. Final with varietal memories and very persistent.

Production
Grapes are harvested from a combination of premium vineyard sites, of both old and new vines, planted in terraces at 100-700m above sea level. The fruit (Garnacha, Carinena, Cabernet Sauvignon, along with 10% Merlot and 5% Syrah) is fermented in 1.5t open top fermenters and hand plunged daily. Each parcel is matured separately for 12 months in a combination of both new (70%) and older (30%) French oak barriques.Tasting notes
A rich and intense aroma of black cherry, liquorice and toasty oak. Ripe plum, rosemary and vanilla characteristics on the poised palate with smooth yet powerful tannins. Notes of leather and spice on the finish.Food pairing
Slow-cooked shoulder of lamb, or rabbit braised with olive and herbs.
Production
Alasia Barbaresco is produced from a cellar selection of Araldica's best barrels. The grapes are hand-harvested in early October. The Nebbiolo grapes are de-stemmed and crushed to four small fermenters for 12 days, with daily pumping-over. This ensures good colour and flavour extraction, but avoids over extraction of the abundant Nebbiolo tannins. The wine is drained off at dryness and the skins transferred to a small press. After pressing the wine is settled for two days, and then racked to Slavonian oak botte and barrique, where it is aged for 2 years. It is then racked from oak and gently natural egg white fined. Another 6 months maturation in bottle is completed before release.Tasting notes
Black fruit aromas, with some savoury, spicy and gently floral characters. Complex and richly flavoured with black cherry, bramble and a hint of violet on the palate. Good structure and fine tannins lead to a long rich finish.Food match

A warm, spicy, open nose with intense black fruit, juicy black cherries, mocha and baked earth characters. The palate has fine-grained tannins giving structure, concentrated blackcurrant fruit, cedar and minerality with perfumed violets to the finish. Elegant and complex.Food match

This Pinot Noir reveals a bright nose of fresh cherries and raspberry jelly. On the palate there's dark cherry flavours with a lick of oak.Food match
